The hands from the Creation of Adam by Michelangelo, modelled in wood.  Made of recycled hardwood, coloured using aniline dyes and coated in lacquer. 12"x9" Two slightly difference models.  One has the background with just plain wood.  The other has the background lightened slightly with a thin wash of white acrylic paint, and the hands are darker in tone.
