Although similar in anatomy to the grizzly bear, #boobears couldn't be more different in their temperament. Sweet, cuddly and powerful thinkers, boo bears are amongst some of the most respected creatures in The Wandering Woods. They have a gift for finding lost souls. In fact, if you find yourself suddenly lost in the Wandering Woods and are approached by a bear, the right thing to do would be to curl up in their arms and let them snuggle you back into your own sense of self, resulting in your safe return home....Please do be sure, though, that you're actually in the wandering Woods and not some other forest, as this technique is NOT ADVISABLE for any other species of bear.

While safety eyes are very difficult to remove and are securely fastened, it is not recommended to leave children  with these toys unsupervised between the ages of 0-3 , as it is possible the saftey eyes to be ripped from the yarn, or somehow loosened.

If you are buying a toy that is meant to be handled by a baby we highly recommended going with embroidered eyes.
